Vital Reserv was founded on a simple observation: diabetic supplies are expensive, and life changes fast.

Every year, millions of dollars in factory-sealed, perfectly usable medical supplies sit in drawers, forgotten, or deemed worthless after a program change, a device switch, or the loss of a loved one. Meanwhile, patients who could use them cannot afford them.

I've lived this paradox for 25 years. Diagnosed with T1D at 13, I've learned that managing this disease is a negotiation with variables most people never have to consider. Blood sugar, insulin sensitivity, food, stress, sleep, exercise, dozens upon dozens of other decisions & stimuli that compound into good days and brutal ones. The stress of supply access shouldn't be one of those variables. It shouldn't.

But it is, for millions. Supplies are expensive. They're a cost the average person doesn't have to weigh. For the uninsured, underinsured, or simply stretched thin, they're often unaffordable. The gap between what gets produced and what gets used, and rising costs, is enormous.
